I’m Danielle Hendrickson

A Venusian Astrologer and Priestess of the Rose Lineage devoted to bringing the ancient wisdom of Venus into the lives of modern women

My Story

I did everything “right.”

For a long time, I lived inside the life I thought I was meant to want.

I married my high school sweetheart and raised 3 awesome kids. Military life took us from Hawaii to Kentucky, Oklahoma, Germany and eventually North Carolina.

I grew up Episcopalian, in a family with deep roots in the tradition and its beautiful theology. There was so much about it that I loved.

But I was also deeply drawn to the mystical. I wanted to explore astrology, ancient wisdom and the things I couldn’t always explain. For a long time, I kept that part of myself tucked away because I knew what people might say.

Too much. Too woo-woo. Not a real Christian.

So I learned to keep those parts of myself separate, loving the spiritual life I had while longing for the freedom to explore everything else that was calling me.

Then something in me broke open.

I remember sitting alone in a church sanctuary, sobbing. I couldn’t have told you exactly what was happening, but I could feel that something had changed.

What followed was a long season of searching.

I went to therapy. I sat in women’s circles and went on sacred pilgrimages. I started questioning beliefs I had held for most of my life and letting myself go deeper into astrology and the ancient wisdom that had always drawn me.

I still didn’t know exactly where any of it was leading. But I kept pulling the thread

I immersed myself in the teachings of Sacred Feminine spirituality and my soul whispered, you found it.

There was a deep sense of recognition in it, as though I was meeting something I already knew.

I found the Rose Lineage and went deeper into the Venus cycle, Goddess mythology and Sacred Feminine astrology, eventually becoming a Priestess of the Rose Lineage and Venusian Astrologer.

Venus became the heartbeat of my work.

Today, I walk this path alongside women as they awaken their Divine Feminine codes and live with more desire, power and possibility.

Venus represents the full spectrum of the Sacred Feminine,

from the sensuality of the Greek goddess Aphrodite to the fiery destruction and creation of the Hindu goddess Kali Ma.

Every 19 months, Venus moves through a cycle of descent, transformation and reclamation.

  • Each part of Her journey carries a different invitation for our own lives, revealing what may be ready to be released, reclaimed or brought forward.
